Glenns Ferry Health Center (Glenns Ferry, Idaho)

This well-established Community Health Center in southwest Idaho is seeking a family physician with OB skills to join their team of five. Bilingual candidates with c-section skills who prefer to live and work in a rural area will find this an ideal opportunity!

The position comes with a full range of benefits including medical and dental insurance, 15 PTO days, 5 days and $1,500 for CME, paid malpractice insurance with tail-end coverage, 403b and relocation allowance. The site is approved for NHSC loan repayment.

The facility has been open since 1982, and boasts state-of-the-art X-ray equipment and a heliport pad for Life Flight access. Two satellite clinics were opened in 1984 and 1998. Medical coverage is required every 3 weeks, and a 7-day call schedule is shared between providers. Sensitivity to the needs of farm workers and their families is required as well as training in the areas of general practice, family practice, internal medicine, or pediatrics.

With 290 average days of sunshine, this community offers plenty of recreational opportunities! The health center is located in a community about 100 miles from Sun Valley, Idaho and the Sawtooth National Recreational and Wilderness Area. The national forests provide ample opportunity for both summer and winter recreational activities, including snow skiing, mountain biking, camping, hiking, fishing, and hunting.
