Well-established, multi-site system with six medical and three dental locations near the Idaho/Oregon border has an opening for a family physician with a strong love of the outdoors, a commitment to community and family, and a fondness for small town living. Must be eligible for Board Certification and licensable to practice medicine in the states of Idaho and Oregon and must have performed 48 hospital admissions within the past year. Call is 1 in 7. The clinic is currently staffed with a part-time physician, two physician assistants, two nurses a CMA and a CNA. Behavioral health professionals also make up part of the team.

The available position is in a space shared with a dental clinic and the administrative offices. The community of 7,100 is the county seat located just a few miles from easy freeway access, shopping and a 92-bed full service hospital.

Located in the Snake River Valley, this area of abundant natural beauty offers residents a host of outdoor activities, including water and snow skiing, hiking, hunting, fishing, golfing, camping, boating, and white water rafting. This part of the country is known for its dry climate and four distinct seasons, including cold, but short winters.

The area offers excellent public and private elementary and secondary schools as well as a two-year community college. The working environment is relaxed and personifies small town practice at its very best. And yet, the city of Boise is just over an hour away with all of the amenities you would expect in a state capital.
